Q. Do you give away free samples?
At CHS we do not offer free samples. As curly hair needs more than just a sachet of product to appreciate the products full benefit, we instead have put together eight travel sizes from 2-4 oz of product in our Travel Pack. This will allow you to experience all eight products at a very affordable price.

Q. What fragrance is used in your products?
Pina Colada and Apricot are our two main fragrances. However, when blended with other ingredients, a unique, new, fresh citrus fragrance emerged.

Q. Are there any silicones in your products?
Our products are natural and biodegradable and contain absolutely no silicones. The entire product line from CHS is free from all silicones, as silicones do not provide any therapeutic value to the hair.

Q. What is the right amount of Curl Keeper ™ to use?
As no two curls are alike there is no precise measurement for the amount of Curl Keeper™ to use. Since Curl Keeper™ has no product feel, we always recommend using generous amounts in your hair to control that extra frizz from roots to tips. Our rule of thumb is that you can’t apply too much product since it will not build up in your hair. Generous amounts will really help on humid days.

Q. Why don’t your products build up in my hair like other products do?
Since our products are water based and have no silicones in their formulas, they will never build up in your hair under normal use. Our products are designed to allow you to use more and not less in order to achieve your specific styling needs.

In order to allow you to try our full product line, we have created a Travel Kit of all eight products in a healthy 2 and 4oz. size. This is a great way for you to try all the CHS products at a very reasonable cost.

Q. Do you use real silk protein in your products?
Yes, we use 100% pure silk amino acids, which have a tiny molecule. This molecule is small enough that it can actually penetrate into the hair cuticle where it can be absorbed bringing strength and shine to your hair. It will never build up or coat your hair.
